Give Your Heart a Voice

Team up with Virgin Mobile Inner Circle and the 1Million Project to help change a life.

Our commitment

As a Virgin company, we’re part of a long history of giving back and changing business for good and we’re committed to continuing that tradition finding new ways to make a difference. That’s why Virgin Mobile is honored to support the 1Million Project, a Sprint Foundation initiative with support from Sprint. The 1Million Project’s mission is to provide free mobile devices and free high–speed wireless internet connectivity to 1 million low–income U.S. high school students lacking a reliable source of internet access at home.

Join us in giving back

An estimated 5 million U.S. families with school-age children do not have home internet access, while 7 in 10 teachers assign online homework. The 1Million Project works to eliminate the Homework Gap that puts these students at a major disadvantage because they don´t have access to the internet, a critical tool needed for completing homework, communicating with teachers or applying for jobs, scholarships or college. Donate a device and help change a life

Help us eliminate the Homework Gap by donating a device you no longer use. All makes and models are accepted, regardless of the carrier or condition. The net proceeds from reselling or recycling your donated device will be used to provide new devices to eligible high school students. For every 100 devices donated by Virgin Mobile customers, Virgin Mobile will donate $500 to the 1Million Project, up to $100,000. If you donate a device, post a photo, tag Virgin Mobile and use #1MillionProject on social media.

Donations are non-refundable. The Sprint Foundation is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Federal Tax ID 48-1062018.
