Install your SIM card

When your Virgin Mobile SIM card arrives, pop out the old card and insert the new one. Don’t worry – we’ll send simple instructions.

Activate and enjoy!

Follow the instructions that come with your SIM card to complete your activation and transfer your number to Virgin Mobile.

Virgin Mobile Compatible iPhones

Currently, Virgin Mobile only supports iPhones in its "Bring Your Own Device" program. Most versions of the following iPhones work with Virgin Mobile. Check below to make sure your device IMEI number is compatible.

    Most iPhone SE phones will work with Virgin Mobile if they are unlocked and were previously used with a U.S. wireless provider (service must be terminated for 60 days or more for phones used on Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile or Sprint)

      Most iPhone 5S phones will work with Virgin Mobile if they’re unlocked and were previously used with Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile or Sprint (service must be terminated for 60 days or more for phones used with Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile or Sprint)
      Some iPhone 5S phones previously used with AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless or MetroPCS will not work with Virgin Mobile because the CDMA network technology necessary to work on Virgin Mobile network has been disabled
