How to program your BlackBerry 8530
Register your BlackBerry device at www.virginmobileusa.com and fill in their billing information. Once complete, turn on the device and everything will be pushed to your phone. There is no need for you to do any programming on the phone itself.
How do I send Picture Messages or Video Messages (MMS) from my BlackBerry Curve 8530?
Picture and Video Messaging (MMS) will be available on your phone as soon as we fix a minor technical issue. We will alert you when this feature becomes available.

In the meantime, you can share photos and videos from your BlackBerry Curve through email or by uploading to Facebook® and MySpace™.
How do I turn my phone on/off?
If you have not set your BlackBerry smartphone to turn on and turn off at specific times, hold the [END] key.

If you have set your smartphone to turn on and turn off automatically at specific times, on the home screen, click Turn Power Off.

If you want the smartphone to stay turned off until you press the Power key, click Full Power Off.

If you want the smartphone to turn on again at the sepcified time or for alarm or calendar reminders, click Turn Off.
How do I check my balance?

How do I save a number and name?
On the home screen, press [SEND] key to view recent call. Use trackpad to highlight desired contact. Press [MENU] key for option save, Add to Contacts.
How do I pair a Bluetooth headset with my phone?
Refer to the user guide of the Bluetooth device you are trying to pair with.

From the home screen of your BlackBerry, go to Setup. Click Setup Bluetooth. Click Search. Click a Bluetooth enabled device. If required, type the passkey for the Bluetooth enabled device on your BlackBerry device. Put your Bluetooth headset into pairing mode. (Refer to the headset's user guide for more information.)
How do I download ringtones, graphics, etc?
Please refer to App World for BlackBerry Ring Tones and Wallpapers.
How do I send a text message?
From the home screen go to SMS and MMS. In a message list, press the [Menu] key. Click Compse SMS Text. In the To field, perform one of the following actions: Type an SMS phone number (include the country code and area code). Type a contact name. Or type part of a contact name. Click a contact. Type a message. Press the [Menu] key. Click Send.
