Without insurance, you could get stuck paying full price to replace your phone if something goes wrong. So Virgin Mobile has partnered with Asurion to make Phone Insurance available to our customers. For just $5/month you'll be covered if your phone breaks or is lost, stolen, or damaged - even with liquid.
Here's how it works:
- Sign up for Phone Insurance within 15 days of activating your phone on a Beyond Talk Plan.
- The $5 premium will be deducted from your Virgin Mobile account each month.
- If something happens to your phone, file a claim online or over the phone.
- As long as your claim is approved and you pay the deductible, you'll typically receive a replacement phone within 24 hours.

When you see Android™ 2.2 versus Android™ 2.3, that just means that Android™ 2.3 is the next generation of software in the Android™ series. For the most part, the basics of the software stay the same. Newer generations sometimes feature somewhat heightened capabilities, or new features, or revisions to improve speed and performance.
