  • How can I check to see how much memory I've used?

    You can easily check the amount of memory used for storing data, such as messages, media, calendar data, or contacts entries. To check memory usage, from the Home screen, press Menu > Tools+Settings > Tools > Mass storage > Memory Info. Choose from All, Phone, or Card to view the available and used memory.

    You can delete data on your device and memory card by pressing Menu > Tools+Settings > Settings > Reset/Delete > Delete Stuff. Select what you would like to delete and press the key > Delete.

  • Can I change the language setting to Spanish on my Samsung Montage?

    Yes, you can! The display language is preset to English at the factory. To change the language, from the Home screen, press Menu > Tools+Settings > Settings > Others > Language. Choose from Español (Spanish) or English for both the screen text and input language.

  • Does Samsung Montage the allow me to change the font size?

    You can change the size of the font shown on your deviceع‚آ€آ™s dialing screen, from Small or Large. From the Home screen, press Menu > Tools+Settings > Settings > Display > Dialing display > Font Size > Dial Font size. Use the up or down Navigation key and press the key to save the font selection.

    Select Menu Font Size to change the font size shown when you are in the menu. Choose from Small, Medium, or Large.

  • Can I download MP3 ringtones on my Samsung Montage?

    Yes, your device supports using downloaded MP3s. To download MP3 ringtones to your device, from the Home screen, press Menu > My Stuff > Ringtones > Get New Ringtones. For further assistance with downloaded MP3 files, contact your service provider.

  • Can I record Voice Memos on my Samsung Montage?

    Yes, you can record a short audio clip. It also allows you to send your audio clip to other people as an attachment via multimedia messages. To record, from the Home screen, press Menu > Tools+Settings > Tools > Voice Memo. Highlight Record and press the key to begin recording/pause. Press FINISH when you have finished recording to save audio clip.

  • How can I connect my Samsung Montage to a PC?

    Your mobile device can connect to a PC via a USB cable, allowing you to transfer files and charge your device. From the Home screen, press Menu > Tools+Settings > Tools > Mass Storage > Connect to PC.

    Note: A memory card must be present to enable Mass Storage Mode.

  • Can I lock my device to help make it more secure?

    Yes, you can set the locking behavior of your device. When locked, you must enter the Phone Lock Code to gain access to the device.
    1. From the Home screen, press Menu > Tools+Settings > Settings > Lock Phone.
    2. Enter in your Phone Lock Code.
    3. Highlight Lock Now and press the key.

    You can change your Phone Lock Code by highlighting and selecting Change Lock Code. Enter your new four-digit code and re-enter the same code to confirm.

  • What if I want to restrict calls on my device? Can I do that?

    Your mobile device allows you to restrict Voice Calls and Text Messages. To restrict calls, from the Home screen:

    1. Press Menu > Tools+Settings > Settings > Parental Control.
    2. Create a new Parental Control Code to access this feature.
    3. Highlight On/Off and press the key.
    4. Highlight On and press the key
    5. Scroll to Restrictions and select from the following:
    - Voice calls: Restrict all calls made from the device, except those on the Allowed Numbers list.
    - Text messages: Restrict all text messages made from the device, except those on the Allowed Numbers list.

    Note: The Parental Control Code is a separate code from the Phone Lock Code.
