When you receive a new text message, an alert will pop up on your screen along with an envelope icon at the top. When this happens, select View (or Dismiss, if you would rather read the message later). If you dismiss this screen, you will still have the Envelope with a T on the top of your screen until you go to your inbox to view the message.

To read a message from your inbox, go to Menu -> Messaging -> Inbox. Scroll through the messages to select the one you want and press OK to read. Once you read all unread messages, the envelope icon will disappear from the main screen.

Press and hold the up arrow on your keypad to instantly check your balance. Or, select Menu -> My Account. You can also check your balance at anytime by logging into "My Account"

Just press the Up or Down volume keys on the side of your phone. You can also go to Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Settings -> Sounds -> Volume and choose the items that would like to change. Adjust the volume within these menus by using the up/down arrow keys.

To save a number, enter the phone number at the main screen and press the left option button to select Save.
