  • Understand Virgin Mobile's Broadband2Go service

    Broadband2Go is Virgin Mobile's wireless internet service on the nationwide Sprint 3G network.

    With Broadband2Go, you can get nationwide access to the internet - without having to search for Wi-Fi or hotspots. Use your Broadband2Go service to work, shop, chat, and more.

    Just buy a Broadband2Go device, activate it, choose a plan, and you're good to go. Pay with cash (Top-Up), credit, or debit. There are no long-term contracts or activation fees and you can change plans as your needs change.

  • Network compatibility for Broadband2Go

    Your Broadband2Go device connects to Sprint's EVDO Rev A data network.

    Virgin Mobile USA customers have access to broadband service on the nationwide Sprint 3G Network.

  • Compatible Operating Systems for Broadband2Go

    The Broadband2Go software is compatible with Windows XP Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.4 and higher. You'll need an available USB port to plug the device into your computer. And you'll also need administrative rights to install the software and drivers. Sorry not with Linux at this time.

    You can connect to the internet on Broadband2Go's nationwide network. That means you can log on from almost anywhere - home, work, at the library, in the airport, at your favorite pizza spot, even outdoors at the park.

  • Broadband2Go online capability

    You can surf the internet, email, IM, and everything else you would normally do when connected to the internet - work, shop, play, chat, and more. Please refer to the terms of service to see our policy on connections and abuse policies.

  • Broadband2Go download and upload speeds

    As long as you're receiving coverage, average download speeds will be between 600-1400 Kbps, peaking at 3.1 Mbps and average upload speeds will be between 350-500 Kbps, peaking at 1.8 Mbps.

    If you have reached the established threshold for your plan, your speeds will be reduced to 256 kbps or below for the remainder of your monthly cycle.  Speeds will be restored once a new plan is purchased.

  • Know if your megabytes for Broadband2Go can expire

    Depending on your Broadband2Go Plan, megabytes will expire 10 days or one month after you buy them.
