30-Day Total Happiness Guarantee
Please Note: This policy is for Contract phones only.
We're sure you'll love your Virgin Mobile phone, but if you don't (for some crazy reason), we still want you to be happy. As long as you return your device to the exact place of purchase within your first 30 days, you are eligible. Once your device is returned, please call 1-888-884-3546 to cancel your monthly service.
Here are the details:
- 30-day return grace period from the date of purchase
- 100% refund of the $30 activation fee
- Up to a 100% device refund
- One exchange of a new device is allowed per new wireless service activation, and one exchange of an accessory per purchase
- Early termination fee waived
- Customers are only responsible for their prorated monthly plan charge and any overages or other charges not included in the plan (A La Carte Members are responsible for all data usage charges)
- We'll assist you with porting your number back and reestablishing service with your previous carrier
- We'll also reimburse you for any reconnect fees up to $50 to reactivate with your previous carrier (you must provide proof of reconnect fees)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Device refund is at the discretion of Virgin Mobile. If you return your mobile phone in a like-new condition with no visible damage within thirty (30) days of date of purchase (or if you migrated or ported from another service, thirty (30) days from the day the port is complete), and you purchased such mobile phone directly from Virgin Mobile or a Virgin Mobile-authorized dealer, you will be provided a refund of the amount you paid for the mobile phone (less any shipping and handling costs) and any activation fee. You must have the original receipt, packaging materials and all components. During the thirty (30)-day time period, one exchange of a mobile phone per new activation and one exchange of an accessory is permitted per purchase. Exchanges for other device/accessory with different retail prices than the initial device/accessory subject to payment of the difference between the price of the original and the new device. If the price of the new device is less than the price of the old device, a credit for the difference will be applied to the account. A device received as part of Virgin Mobile's Device Upgrade Program is not eligible for return or exchange under the Total Happiness Guarantee. Devices delivered pursuant to insurance claims cannot be returned or exchanged under the Total Happiness Guarantee though equipment warranty rules may apply.
Please contact Virgin Mobile customer service at 1-888-884-3546 for instructions on how to return mobile phones purchased directly from Virgin Mobile. Phones purchased at a retail store may be returned to that store in accordance with the store's return policy. If you do not comply with the store's return policy, you may not receive a refund for the retail price of the mobile phone. Please repack the phone and all components and bring it to the store at which you purchased it.
Only new devices are eligible for exchange under this policy. Any device not purchased directly from Virgin Mobile or a Virgin Mobile authorized dealer/agent/subagent shall not be considered a new device. A refurbished device provided to the member under a warranty exchange is eligible for upgrade by the same member for whom the exchange was granted. Once a device is exchanged one time, the new device is no longer eligible under this policy. A device received as part of the Device Upgrade Program is not eligible for return/exchange under this policy, see Device Upgrade Program details for upgrade program return policy. If a customer wishes to keep the device but not the service, the customer must pay the full retail price of the device. Devices delivered pursuant to insurance claims cannot be returned or exchanged under our Total Happiness Guarantee though Equipment Warranty rules may apply. This policy does not affect a manufacturer's warranty. Opened software purchased separately may be exchanged only for the same exact item at a Virgin Mobile Store and may not be returned for refund.
