  • How does Virgin Mobile Phone Insurance work?

Without insurance, you could get stuck paying full price to replace your phone if something goes wrong. So Virgin Mobile has partnered with Asurion to make Phone Insurance available to our customers. For just $5/month you'll be covered if your phone breaks or is lost, stolen, or damaged - even with liquid.

    Here's how it works:

    - Sign up for Phone Insurance within 15 days of activating your phone on a Beyond Talk Plan.
    - The $5 premium will be deducted from your Virgin Mobile account each month.
    - If something happens to your phone, file a claim online or over the phone.
    - As long as your claim is approved and you pay the deductible, you'll typically receive a replacement phone within 24 hours.

CNET Rating

The good.

The Kyocera S2300 offers a fair number of messaging options and a user-friendly interface. You also get Bluetooth and voice dialing.

The bad.

The Kyocera S2300's phone book only offers caller ID for groups and call quality had some static. Its headset jack is 2.5mm, and its keyboard feels cramped.

The bottom line.

If you don't mind the keyboard and the occasional static during calls the Kyocera S2300 is an accessible and functional messaging phone for Virgin Mobile.
